ABOUT

Bill Kelton

My career in construction began before computers were part of the process. Estimating was done by hand, and if something didn’t make sense, you had to catch it yourself.

In construction, you don’t need a college education to move the earth. But you do need clear thinking, solid fundamentals, and the ability to look at something and ask, does this actually make sense? That way of thinking has stayed with me my entire career.

FROM THE GROUND UP

In the field, the office and everything in between

I’ve spent over 50 years in heavy civil construction, starting in the field and working my way through estimating, project management, and senior leadership. I’ve worked on just about every type of job and seen how things run at every level, including inside a courtroom.

Over time, you start to notice the patterns: where jobs go wrong, where money starts slipping, and where decisions get made without the right information. That’s the experience I bring. Not theory, just knowing what to look for and how to fix it before it significantly erodes the margin.

Work with me

Most of the time, people reach out when something isn’t adding up. The work is getting done, but the numbers don’t look right, or the systems aren’t helping the way they should.

I come in, take a hard look at what’s going on, and help you sort through it. No overcomplicating things, just a clear look at where the problems are and what to do about them.

CONTACT

If experience matters, it’s worth talking to someone who’s seen it before and will give you a straight answer.
